The project involves the renovation and conversion of an existing residential building, built in 1937, into office spaces, located near the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. The building covers approximately 1.800 sq.m. across seven levels, including a basement, ground floor, and five upper floors.
The architectural approach focuses on preserving the building’s distinctive features while adapting it to its new function. The renovation includes extensive repair works, reconfiguration of the interior layout, and modernization of building services, creating a contemporary and functional working environment.
The design preserves the original façade composition, marble and wooden flooring, and architectural details of the common areas. Contemporary interventions are discreetly incorporated into the existing building, establishing a balance between its historic architectural identity and the requirements of a modern workplace.
